Chinook
Don't forget the highly populated northern Wisconsin and western Upper Michigan.
Whitelakeroy
The western UP could get the most snow from this system and they are not even included in the thread title!!
Chinook
4km NAM from 00z. Congrats to Minneapolis if they get 12". Oh wait. Most people think it should be spring by now!
Whitelakeroy
I am currently getting ZR/IP right now. My deck furniture has some icicles hanging from it and sleet lightly covering my deck.
dmc76
I am currently getting ZR/IP right now. My deck furniture has some icicles hanging from it and sleet lightly covering my deck. All liquid here but I did notice temps dropped last hour to from 34.8 to 33.4.
mnweather
32 and mostly cloudy for me. Snow on the doorstep.
Whitelakeroy
All liquid here but I did notice temps dropped last hour to from 34.8 to 33.4. Warmed a bit once the precip rates drop but still have some icicles on the deck. I sure wasn't expecting it.
gosaints
Wow 4km NAM agressive around here. 10 inches not probable
Geos
Wow 4km NAM agressive around here. 10 inches not probable RAP really sends that warm nose into SE MN. So I would say that 10" isn't likely.
Chinook
yeah, I noticed that Minneapolis GFS sounding had a low level layer very close to 0C (surface to 850mb very close to 0C) on yesterday's GFS. That's why I wondered if that area would get rain and/or low snow ratios for a while, rather than the 10-12".
gosaints
Agree GEOS. Low level temps have under achieved today. Wonder if we don't end up with a good amount of ice
MnWx_88
Getting some minor ice accumulations around the Red Wing area. Almost picturesque.
