It's a new season and time for a new banter thread!! Rant here about the severe storm that jumped over your house, or the eighteen stages of grief you're going through because of the backdoor front that just dumped a mile thick stratus cloud on you, or brag about the number of cartwheels you can do on your back lawn. Go!!

I WILL MISS THE SEVERE STORMS AGAIN THIS YEAR . I will be backdoored frequently during the spring on LI because LI and i cant do cartwheels because i just cant..... Been hearing that this storm this weekend may dump a little rain huh?

Two things you can count on this spring and summer, boring weather, somehow missing 98% of storms and 100 degree weather for Waterfest.

I hate the severe storm that is just to the west of you and magically dissolves right on top of you or splits.

Severe weather season is always such a disappointment around here.

It's because of the areas of convective initiation typical for this area and storms running into Marine influence/down sloping etc by the time they get here

Severe weather sucks here and it always disappoints. We don't do severe weather well

Yeah in general, storms tend to develop in EPA late afternoon, spread into parts of WNJ into the early evening and fall apart. We do best usually with ISOLATED thunderstorms that can pop up right over us, and not LINES of storms

Our best chances along the coastal regions are early morning or at night. The afternoon severe storms are as scarse as anthony not posting a HECS run on the EURO during the winter
