hosj III
If we had these rates since 2AM the 0z euro satuday night would have verified.

snowfan
Still coming down really well out there. Probably about to surpass the 4" mark.
North Balti Zen
IIRC, the forecast was for 4-8" and you got 3". It may be a slight bust... but certainly not a disaster like March 6 last year. I didn't say disaster. I said disappointing, which it is. We only got about 4 hours of snow.
dukeblue219
Just went for a walk... Very enjoyable if a bit cold! Took my ruler along and couldn't find anything greater than 3.5" at this time. Still coming down though with huge flakes. Temp has risen from 21 to 22 recently. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
arlwx
Snow porn alert in South Arlington VA! Visible flakes! Visibility under 1/4 mile. Tolerating this because it is (hopefully) the last time I will have to shovel the winter stuff until after next September. Edit: make it 200 yards. GramaxRefugee
Luch hour measure in Mitchellville, PG Co. ...Just under 3.0, heavy snow falling. Seems like we should be higher, but taking care to investigate many sheltered areas....we're lucky to call it 3. Currently sideways snow; low vis. ...no complaints. The Ole Bucket
Business picking back up again, but Cville won't be the jackpot. Climb too steep; too long hit by the dry slot that reduced us to blowing flurries for about two hours. Disappointed, but not a total loss.
ers-wxman1
7" total here in Ashburn, VA. Snow has ended. Came down heavy the final hour. Good forecast out this way.

BaltimoreWxGuy
Congrats west/southern guys on the band...I guess I was wrong for you, but I was very correct for East-Northeast Balt...the radar returns never overcame the dry air entrenched. 3.5" final total here in Essex..Good for March, but overall disappointing. May not have been very far from an accumulation standpoint but I never got real great rates...Mod snow for maybe 2 hours, no +snow and that is a disappointment in itself
mattie g
Snowing nicely now, with bigger flake size, just as others have reported. It's not crushing or anything - just moderate to "moderate/heavy" snow - but it's coming down a lot better than it has been. Nice finish to a slightly disappointing event. Cville doing just fine....7-8 in my estimation

Kay
Hasn't been snowing here since 9:30 am. Once it shut off, it stayed off. Same here. 3.5". I count this a win with the cold temps. Great day.

SLPressure
ot...wasn't the GGEM the first model 3 or 4 days ago to call for the 2 part event with us getting snow for today? yes, I think so but please correct me if I'm wrong I mention it only because of the GGEM's 84, 96 and 108 hr maps off the 12Z run today http://weather.gc.ca/data/model_forecast/colour_images/12_054_G1_north@america@zoomout_I_4PAN_CLASSIC@012_084.jpg http://weather.gc.ca/data/model_forecast/colour_images/12_054_G1_north@america@zoomout_I_4PAN_CLASSIC@012_096.jpg http://weather.gc.ca/data/model_forecast/colour_images/12_054_G1_north@america@zoomout_I_4PAN_CLASSIC@012_108.jpg How do you read temps on those maps?
