Ottawa Blizzard
Wow, that's pretty far west. Although, JB lives in State College, right? Boalsburg actually, not far from State College. He's not that great at calling storm tracks, but better at overall pattern recognition. Judging from the latest model runs, he may have been right to call out the Euro with its call for a big warm-up.
IWXwx
Models are really struggling over wave evolution by next weekend, but I keep seeing signs of a Roger Smith Frisbee Hybrid swinging through. Could be the next in a series of weekend overperformers.
Geos
On the GFS everything is in the northern 1/3 of the sub forum in terms of snowfall for the first system. Next one targets the northern 1/2 and eastern part of the region. Then the one way out there towards 192 hours is a snow to mix to rain situation. buckeye
euro has the clipper as well, but way less precip, more of a 1-3" deal...than it has a follow up clipper about the same strength a couple of days later....
buckeye
fwiw...the ggem was way higher with snowfall forecasts with the two clippers a few weekends ago and nailed it here. The euro was consistenty much drier.
