Stebo
I have the under with Caplan for 8.0" at ORD 6" would have been a harder call. 8" is an easy under imo.
cyclone77
4-6" still looking good here. I'm thinking right around 5" or so based on 12-14:1 LSRs. Heaviest band of 5-8" looks to line up from Burlington Iowa to the heart of Chicago. With nearly 10" on the ground already we should have a very healthy snow pack going by the end of the weekend. RyanDe680
Is it assumed that this is a 10:1?

Stebo
Is it assumed that this is a 10:1? Further northwest where Cyclone is, it would be a bit higher than 10:
cyclone77
Agree. Yeah I agree with you guys. I'd take under too, but they could still give it a good run.
Geos
Is it assumed that this is a 10:1? Maybe as high as 13:1 --- Since Chicago has had such a good run, I'd side with over.
cyclone77
Is it assumed that this is a 10:1? Up this way I'm thinking more along the lines of 12-14:1. Down closer to the rain/snow line the ratios would drop to 8-10:1 I would imagine, but there's more QPF. Pretty tight baroclinic zone across the snow swath. Hoosier
I like somewhere around I-80 in northeastern IL/extreme northwest IN right now but possible that could drift a little north.
