weathafella
A potent Arctic wave coming down the flow among many short waves may amplify as it moves under New England and give a cold quick hitting snow event Thursday. Models are changing run to run but tonight's op models (haven't looked at euro yet...not out) are more robust vs earlier runs.Thursday looks like it could be a snowy day and as of tonight it's snow or no for all of New England but obviously SE areas have what appears to be the best shot. Tolland, CT should see decent potential out of this one.

weathafella
How little is little? 1-3 or a 3-6 Way too early to speculate. A potentially plowable event is on the table.

moneypitmike
06gfs is looking better. I wish I had better EC maps, but looks promising from the primitive images and primitive interpretive skills on my part from the looks of the 00z run. 22.2/

ORH_wxman
Re-title the thread? GFS is kind of an outlier on the 22nd-23rd event. The Cape has a shot to get a few inches on that one.
CoastalWx
GFS still trying. I'd like to see the euro come around.
Damage In Tolland
GFS still trying. I'd like to see the euro come around. Didn't the Euro have widespread light snow like a couple inches? I think that's all the region should be expecting
Clinch Leatherwood
GFS still trying. I'd like to see the euro come around. Could be a lot more than a few inches with the oes but will see how it plays out

Maybe. Take the bird in the hand. Long range is always fraught with issues. But it looks ok. I didn't expect to have snow onthe ground today. I do. I think SE areas cash in Tuesday and a wider area 2 days later.
