I'll ride it to el banco popular...

IMBY 12.9"

ORD 11.8"

MDW 13.6"

In terms of GHD vs. PVB ... I gotta roll with GHD...that sucker was so well sampled by pac flights (which have ceased for some reason) that for almost a week we just got to sit back and watch the different lollipop numbers....and then after the tracking for 10 days the storm lived up to all the hype IMBY...a "take your breathe away" storm...  This winter, though, is starting to go down as one of the more memorable ones....There may have only been 2 or 3 days when there wasn't something to track either medium range or short range

PVB has proven to be quite the system though...impressed by the blowing and drifting that I thought might be difficult to come by due to the wetter nature of the snow...numerous large drifts all around my home...sides of the driveway are stacked 4+ feet high with snow....arctic air piling in behind/with the system...definitely one I will remember for a long time. I probably ended up somewhere in the 10 to 12 inch range (maybe more? still snowing)....too tough to measure here anymore...

good tracking....good storm....cheers

At least we got one blizzard warning out of the storm. I think it would verify here at least out in rural areas. Was out shoveling and got hit with constant whiteouts.

Calling the total here at 11"... have drifts up to 3 feet in the yard.

Also, arctic front hit. Temp down 7 degrees in the last hour and rapidly dropping.

Man... Wifey and I figured we'd better get out there and clear out the drive again. All I can say is OMFG!!! There is at least a foot, but some spots are drifted up well over 2' out there. If we hadn't cleared it when we did, I don't see how we would have been able to do much besides tunnel out. Our basement door is blocked by almost 3' of snow.

Per Genesee County road commission, essential travel only. There will be TWO trucks, both plowing only the interstates. No salt will be put down until Tuesday at the earliest. This is no joke. There are cars stuck in their own driveways, what would possess these idiots to leave home in weather like this in anything that's not a 4x4. There is 18" of snow in the roadway in front of our house.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get another 8 to 10 inches by morning... it's ripping like I haven't seen in decades. A friend a few miles away measured 18" half an hour ago. This will definitely go into the top 10 snow events in SEMI, me thinks.

Up to 9" on the west side of Muncie, still coming down pretty good.  Looks like we might get another inch or two out of what is left.

Here's another picture showing how sticky the snow was earlier today.  That's accumulation building up all around the twigs.  Never seen it like this before.
