wxmeddler
Round 2 with 700mb heights and 2m 32° line around the time it gets to the metro area as predicted by the HRRR. Think of the 700mb heights (green parallel lines) as the travel lanes for the precip.
snowfan
Is it unreasonable to think that areas even east of 95 can hang on to sub freezing temps through the majority of the overnight hours? My temp has only dropped in recent hours. Round 2 with 700mb heights and 2m 32° line around the time it gets to the metro area as predicted by the HRRR. Fozz
Yup, I suck It's the psuhoffman syndrome. Northern MD'ers think they're getting fringed and sometimes panic, then when the storm happens, a nice band sits over them and they jackpot. Phin has been calling it out for years

wxmeddler
Is it unreasonable to think that areas even east of 95 can hang on to sub freezing temps through the majority of the overnight hours? My temp has only dropped in recent hours. It's unreasonable to think so if your on a peninsula or within 5 miles of the western shore of the bay, they should go above 32 around 9-11p. However if your west of lets call it I-97 to MD 3 to US 301, then you could definitely hold on longer. But remember, that when the warm push does come (modeled around 9z) you're going to be the first to go.
