powderfreak
Radar looking pretty ugly...hoping to pull an inch or two. 5:30am saw 0.1" home and 0.25" at 1,500ft.
MainePhotog
Ground and roads covered with snow here in the west end of Portland. Maybe 1/10" so far.
eyewall
A dusting here so far with periods of light snow. Not yet measurable.
Lava Rock
You'd think we were getting a foot the way the news was reporting on it this morning.
mreaves
Ugh. It would have to snow for days at this rate to pull down an inch or two.
Lava Rock
Oh well, at least we've got some nice cold to look forward to. I'd rather get the ground solid then snow. Makes for better early season snowmobiling.
eyewall
Sun peeking through. 0.1" so far.
powderfreak
I actually saw some blue sky at times over the ridgeline this morning while it was snowing in the lower elevations. We have maybe a half inch on Mansfield. As usual, our more publicized storms lead to less total snow than some small barely noticeable (to most people) disturbance that has good orographics. Photo is bad, but it's patches of blue sky opening up over the ridge.

ono
flakes just got bigger here in BTV. Not really a change in intensity- just size.
dryslot
Radar far from inspiring
eyewall
0.2" so far. Had another burst of snow. It may be a little more officially as we lost a little between bands, either way it is nice to see the flakes fly but not a notable event as most have been saying. I wonder if anyone in the advisories is verifying at all.
powderfreak
Getting the best burst of snow and snow growth all day. Radar looks decent for the next hour or so here.

eyewall
0.3" total so far or so. Snow has stopped again and some freezing drizzle is mixing in.
mreaves
Snow keeps coming and going in pulses. It never completely stops but will slack off considerably and go to a fine, needle-like consistency. When the intensity picks up the size of the flakes do to. Not a great storm by any means but it has almost covered th grass again. I guess I would say that this is on the heavy end of "mood flakes". Yeah same here, we keep losing our dustings in the breaks and then it returns with each burst. That it makes it tougher getting the actual total, but so far I have it around 0.6" for me. Overall it is a pretty wintery scene outside, would love to have more but this is better than brown.

eyewall
Our light accumulation is now finally holding and the ground is as covered as it has been all day. These small flakes are actually building slowly.

dryslot
Keep it up I'll have 3 feet of ice to skip my golf ball across come March. Is there even 3' in that pond...........lol, This will make some real good solid blue ice to be able to navigate with my snowmobile over the next 2 weeks, Getting all the wetlands and bogs to freeze is a huge plus before we get alot of snow to insulate. tamarack
Actually had an hour or two of moderate snow (by visibility standard, not accum) here in AUG, but without going outside I'm guessing 1-1.5". Could be an interesting drive home, as temps remain low 20s. Might have been better with snow piling up so people slow down more.
