Actually heard the following on the radio this morning........there's no snow, so no worries about the weather impacting your commute.

Was anyone really broadcasting legit snow as a possibility?

Anyway, cold air was slow to move in. Felt kinda warm when I left this morning at 6:15.

Yes, I saw on WJZ yesterday afternoon that central MD was expecting a coating.  Their website now says possible flurries.

JBerk also said it should leave top of cars and trashcans white (again, this was yesterday afternoon).

Either way, it was being locally broadcasted.

It was 52 degrees when I left Bel Air this morning.

Driving down 27 in Mount Airy and saw my first SHA snowwplow on I-70....only in Maryland.

I put the winter tires on the car this weekend.  It all but guaranteed a fizzling flizzard was the max snowfall potential for today.  I should have told SHA.

51F when I left the house at 5:50am.  35.6F now (at 7:58am).

From LWX: "THERE IS EVIDENCE OF RECENT COOLING OF CLOUD TOPS ACROSS THE EASTERN
MID ATLANTIC AND ANY SHOWER ENHANCEMENT SHOULD OCCUR IN THE NEXT FEW
HOURS ACROSS I-95 AND SOUTHERN MARYLAND."

There seems to be a moistening composite radar at least.

I really really need KSBY to report SN today

my daughter just moved down there; I molded her into a snow weenie so I've got another reliable obs person to our SE     lol

all I know is that if SBY reports more snow than us early in the season, it's gunna' be a looooong winter (ala 10/11)

I left in '07... don't remember much happening down there when I was in school.
