Models are in good agreement on a wave of low pressure forming off of HAT and moving up the coast and impacting Eastern areas of the region.  Probabilities are pretty high for 1" over SE MA/ CC/ Islands, closer to the low center.

 

I think it's possible someone on the Cape gets absolutely drenched. Great low level convergence signature.

Nice to see coastals. We had a similar setup mid summer last year that was supposed to miss but the cape up through Boston got a good soaking. We had coastals in winter and by February everyone cashed in.

Seen some post saying warm water is bad for winter I see baroclinic potential.

Yeah its good... keep those waters really warm and keep the thermal gradient right on the coastline.  None of this out by the benchmark and beyond stuff.  Need some good strong lows to ride the beaches ;)
