DTs calls have been bad this year in my backyard.    if  the euro is right, DT will be wrong on this one too for most of NJ

Whatare Lee Goldberg's thoughts, he seems to be fairly good for these parts. I don't think this is our year for snow here. December rule: less than 4 in New Brunswick, below average snowfall for the winter. Seems on track for this year; it's finding all kinds of ways to not snow much this year.

DT is being way too generous with those snowfall amounts.

He is off by at least 50% in my opinion another bust likely  for him but what else is new ?- soon to be called DBT. Sign up and pay for his 3 week forecast -LOL - but seriously the warmer air is arriving already with temps a few degrees above freezing today then tonight in the metro NYC dropping to a couple degrees of freezing tonight maybe a 2 -4 inch event if we are lucky in the immediate metro then a couple hours of mix then rain and the change back to snow possibilities rarely work out so roads should be mainly wet tomorrow morning once the salt trucks keep dumping on them - also DBT is not alone in the bust parade JB is leading the

parade with his 6 - 10 -Joe Cioffe is the smart one here lowering his totals

amazing how this has turned into a non event around the immediate metro and once again certain individuals are not seeing it and will bust bad if they don't open their eyes soon Joe Cioffi is doing the best work with this storm

Also the writing is on the wall regarding this winter - plenty of potential then under achievement

I don't know as to go so strongly to say non-event. Let's see how the temps respond as this thing begins and the first few hours into it.

Especially lately, I feel like all of these accumulation maps by everyone are basically just the latest model runs put onto a pretty map and delayed by 4 or 5 hours. Next series of model runs comes out and "might have to come out with a new map and adjust things based on new info".....new map, etc etc. Altogether, it's so much better to just check the model runs ourselves rather than look at a map based on the last series of model runs as newer ones are coming out which will reflect the updated "map calls" to be released in several hours
