nchighcountrywx
Since Friday, I have been receiving sporadic error messages of the type below when using the following link to view the SE Forum: Link: http://www.americanwx.com/bb/index.php/forum/13-southeastern-states/ Error: (#2000] You are not allowed to visit this community. I only receive it when using my Blackberry over Verizon to access the forum so it may have something to do with the VZW Blackberry requests coming in through RIM Blackberry. If I am in a wireless area (such as home/work) and turn the Wi-Fi on on the Blackberry, the problem does not occur. This issue first started occurring Friday February 8. I wanted to pass the issue on in case others are seeing it also.
Wow
I edited your permissions. Let's see if that fixes it.
nchighcountrywx
I just tried it again and still does not work: Step 1: Verizon Blackberry over VZW RIM routing gives Error 2000 No permission to SE Forum Step 2: Turned VZW 3g Connection off, move to Wifi Area and use BlackBerry over Wifi...Problem does not exist Again the problem started Friday February
nchighcountrywx
Added note: It also occurs if I just try to access the main domain: http://www.americanwx.com Over Verizon RIM Blackberry routing It acts as if the RIM routing ip addresses are being denied. I also tried deleting cookies on the blackberry and that did not help the issue either.
eekuasepinniW
We have a zillion IP's blocked due to spamming... if you got assigned an IP that was previously used by a spammer, you might see that message. Next time you get the error, go to http://www.whatsmyip.org/ and then PM me what your IP address is. I'll see if it's blocked.
