Geos Posted February 6, 2013 Share Posted February 6, 2013 Since winter has finally made a more prolonged appearance in this area of the country this past week, I took the opportunity to scope out the landscapes near Lake Michigan close to my home. These photos are all within the Chiwaukee Nature Preserve in Pleasant Prairie, WI and the Illinois State Beach Park in Zion, IL. Below: Weather Station at Chiwaukee Prairie. The water birds were making more wave action then the breeze was. You can't see it real well, but there was a slight fog out over the lake.
