Sugarloaf1989
Thought I would start and observations thread for tonight's light snow event. It's overcast here and 17F. As per our southern friends on Accuweather, light snow is now falling in Central New Jersey.

What criteria make it a named storm? No way. The 11/07 storm was Athena, and there have been other named storms that have affected other areas. A few of them have had kind of odd names: Brutus, Euclid, Freyr, Jove, Khan.
