weatherMA
I don't think this is waiting until 6 in SWCT....maybe 6 up here, 3-4 in CT.
CT Rain
I could see some on the south coast getting a surprise too once the thump comes in before pinging.
snowman21
I don't think this is waiting until 6 in SWCT....maybe 6 up here, 3-4 in CT. The winter weather advisory starts at 1 PM for interior SW CT, so it probably gets going by mid-afternoon down this way.

mahk_webstah
wondering if this gets in quicker than forecast. MY WSW starts at 10pm but the radar suggest sooner? Although there is probably a period of virga. These kind of storms often come in faster than modeled.

SJonesWX
got down to 12.1 f last night, so it is pretty dry. i would bet we see some heavy, heavy virga for a couple hours tonight.
H2Otown_WX
Definitely advecting nice dry Canadian air. Td sitting at 10 @ KOXC (not sure how accurate that is since they're a small crappy airport lol) and I see other surrounding stations in the mid-teens. Leads me to believe this could over-perform with such room to wet-bulb, going to be fun to watch.

moneypitmike
Not sure what to make of this--but the temps west of the CT river are decidedly cooler than those east of the river. You can see it more clearly and granularly if you zoom in or look at wundermaps. Probably was progged that way, but, to what degree does this impact what's going to happen later on with respect to the advance of warmer air? 26.9/
