On it, it has an area for your user name and latitude/longitude. Simply put in those details and you are good to go. Remember this is a public document so please be respectful and do not delete or screw around with it. Also remember because it is public you probably do not want to use your exact address. My suggestion is to find the nearest major road near you and use that. This doc will be open until the end of December please do not PM your location. Members Map worksheet (where you'll enter your info): https://docs.google....LWVHdjFFYWhNelE To get your latitude and longitude you simply need to go here: http://www.satsig.ne...long-finder.htm You will see a search box. Again search for a major road nearest you. In my case I searched "Woodlawn, Charlotte NC". You might search for "Martin Luther King Blvd. Atlanta, GA" and it will pull up that street area. If you do want to use your address use at your own risk. Here is the map. Doing it this way I'll be able to easily make a heat map...which I think would be great when making a storm forecast. It would allow those making the forecast to possibly refine it based on where the most members are. I know some won't like that, but it does help I would think.
