one of these days, tom or tralce will get together a list of wing wahs for you. seriously, i like the stats too. the new name would lend itself to being more national in scope. a side of me likes that. a side of me does not. in the summer it would focus on convection and be flooded with people from oklahoma and kansas and places like that. in the winter, focus is east again because that is (sigh) why alot of people are on here. i wish i could get people interested in hydrology. but that aint happenin.

i meant the restaurants of course. you said once there is one near you.

southern plains severe outbreaks and expectations for one could certainly help undull a weather board when things are quiet locally.

there are several agencies involved in hydro. the nws works very closely with the army corps of engineers, us geological survey and local river basin commisssions that help bring local governments and entities together for their areas that drain into one waterway. the potomac for example has a drainage area in 4 states plus dc and involvement goes down to the county and town level also. http://www.potomacriver.org. i want one of their rain barrels in the worst way.
