HoarfrostHubb
Strong Feb 11 sun (j/k) quickly melting my driveway (not kidding). Neat seeing some pixie dust gstill glinting in the sunlight. May as well see if I can access enough wood through the snow to merit a burning permit. Nice day for it. Yeah, driveway already melting here Nice sunny day incoming

Hoping you are right and also surprised by box just from consistencies sake but they are human. I'm sure their frustration is as high as ours. Radar looking somewhat better. ackwaves
Yeah that's the problem for you initially. Until you start ripping the northerly winds it will be tough to cool off much. Yup, I figured. Well at least it has veered some from NW to NNW. Just looking now, I just dropped a degree to 36.
moneypitmike
Clouds seem to be dissapating to the north and west (oh, and of course overhead). Sunny day in the offing?

Cold Miser
lol - I wake up to see even the advisories for my area have been lifted. I don't think I've seen a "warning" event since last October. Eitherway, grassy surfaces are covered here now.
Clinch Leatherwood
Only thing for me I don't like is we aren't crossing streams. The heavier band is staying well east of me. I'm left with this other stuff which may struggle to do anything in the shadow of the "death" band. How much snow can Pete get in a sunstorm is the question. Looks like I'll still have more snow OTG than you even if you get lucky and score a few inches. It's a shame anything that you get will vaporize immediately. How do you stand it? mcglups
Light and weak snowfall with temperature hovering just at 33 with the wind clicking just under 1mph from the NW. Solar Radiation is up to 32 watts/m^2 so we need some cooler air before there is any chance of this being more than just small patches.
