After several minor snowfalls that mostly stuck to the grass in December, we finally have gotten a few days of sustained winter here in SE MI. After about an inch of synoptic snow on the 13th, lake effect snow pleasantly exceeded expectations late on the 13th (another 0.7") and on the 14th (2.5"...2" fell in 2 hours 430-630pm).
