So, very much to discuss: 1) Thursday 1/12 (one year anniversary of much rejoicing) -- Significant trough diving into the Northern Plains, while a cutoff low lifts northeastwards toward the region. Pretty big differences remain in model guidance with respect to the amplitude of the diving trough and the track of the cutoff. Regardless: Big precipitation and wind event for New England.
