I have precipitation from Jamaica Queens from 1826 to 1860's...I'll add it to this post when I have time...Governors Island is effected by marine air and is not far from Battery Park where weather records were kept from 1870 to 1960...I don't know of any snowfall records for this area before 1869...I think there were heavy snows in 1830's...1836 had a big snow...Don Sutherland has a great site with past weather... http://wintercenter.homestead.com/photoindex.html Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
