CoastalWx
I still don't understand why someone said the GGEM was rain I wouldn't say plain rain for you as it looks like it might be an isothermal snow for a while, but it looks like all the models are leaving you with little wiggle room. ORH_wxman
Well its very early in the run, but the 12z Euro through 12 hours is already less amplified than the 00z run. We'll see if that translates to later in the run.

Professional Lurker
I really tried to get that done. My car would not be able to get there... well, maybe Freshies at Wachusett is attaiable though Yeah, I'm taking the kids out of school (at least that was the plan, I doubt they'll actually HAVE school on Friday). What's everybody's take for snow quality up there? Will it be a blue bomb up there in Ludlow too, or will it be a little fluffier? I'm hoping for fluff, as Sierra Cement is a lot of work... mattb65
It even keeps BOS all snow I think this run 50 mile shift AWT - we all said that the correction NW might have been over-done. Too early to declare winners/losers obviously, except for the losers who prematurely gave up on this storm.
ORH_wxman
Europ FTW. A bit drier, but I'll take it. Not quite as wrapped up with that WCB....but its a happy medium for your area. Still dynamic enough that you can get good snows but not so ridiculous that it drives the mid-level 0C line well NW.
40/70 Benchmark
Europ FTW. A bit drier, but I'll take it. What I meant by "less dynamic" and the usual antagonist took that and ran w it.
Baroclinic Zone
I made the comment the other day about this initial wave being stronger pushing the baroclinic zone offshore. Wonder if this is what the Euro is showing.
