Chicago WX
21z SREF mean 24 hour QPF and mean SLP at 12z Wednesday (no doubt some amped up solutions going off the mean SLP map, note the shading west of the mean track).
cyclone77
GGEM is out to 60 and looking weird again. It's obviously having major issues with the complexity of this system. The 12z was garbage, and unfortunately this one may be too.

snowstormcanuck
More distinct southern stream wave being depicted on the 0z GGEM at 60 compared to the 12z run at 72. Think it'll improve on the 12z suppressed track but it'll probably still be on the east side of the guidance.

Macintosh
Hmmm I may need to book a room in St Louis Thanks for the PM, Beau. You know, I've always thought I was close to St. Louis but it's looking more and more like I'm worlds away from where I need to be on this one. Stevo6899
It's obviously having major issues with the complexity of this system. The 12z was garbage, and unfortunately this one may be too. Apparently DTX thinks it's not that very complex.
The_Global_Warmer
Right now the talk of a foot of snow on ice is going on in the media. things will explode tomorrow. the local news have told folks biggest storm since 2006 and 1982. that means super ice, super snow. expect Winter storm warnings for this, and ice storm warnings for monday am
snowlover2
Just got home and saw the NAM and GFS. NAM for me looks like it goes over to all rain and then back side snow and GFS looks like mix going to decent back side snow. Sound about right? Chicago Storm
0z GFS Ensemble Mean came in a bit farther NW and wetter.
baroclinic_instability
0z GFS Ensemble Mean came in a bit farther NW and wetter. Makes sense to me. The flat track (no NW curve) in the 0Z op didn't make much sense to me given the situation.
