NwWhiteOut
We had 19" officially. We also had 19" in 1979. The biggest storm was in 1913 or something when we had 22.5" Man I just now seen that map you posted above with the totals....maybe my guess was right when i said 22" to people. I knew it was close to 2 feet but just wasnt sure. According to that map 21-24" in my area. Will go down in history and record books probly. I wonder what the all time highest was here in polk county, humansville

It's pretty crazy looking down the neighborhood and seeing all the people that dug out. Man they are everywhere here. Whats amazing is the in the neighbors backyard there is this giant long path of snow just gone from the wind....the ground is bare and it looks like someone plowed but they didnt. JoMo
GFS and GGEM both show a storm in 4 days or so. N OK looks like the prime spot to be.
baroclinic_instability
Great shot of the storm and the evil dry slot starting to form and taking aim at certain members of this forum. Great shot. What a wicked looking storm. You can see the direct low level convective forcing/upper level divergent jet exhaust.
brettjrob
Western OK Panhandle making a run at the all-time state record low tonight. Currently -19 F in Kenton, which ties the lowest ever recorded in the Mesonet's 17-year history. They've got 8 degrees to go to tie the almost century-old state record of -27 F. GGEM looks awesome! 0Z GFS doesn't look too shabby either, but it needs to trend a bit south for a variety of reasons. A few ens members are showing similar results, with even more coming Wednesday. JoMo
Think this captures the QPF output for the storm. (also 3 dead, 5 rescued from an SUV that went into Spring River near Miami, OK. I-44 westbound into OK closed again)
JoMo
GGEM has a 546 500 MB contour dipping down across AZ and NM at that time (144). Looks like the energy is farther south and west. So it's possibly slower than the GFS but it does have a possible storm.
