  1. Past hour
  2. yes this is just the rogue off mark day, however I see central NJ has already made it into the 60s.
  3. I hate pesticides, but as for excessive pollination, it's no longer natural because of our warming climate, we've made it much worse. =\ Also, the things that give us allergies and breathing problems aren't really essential to our environment.
  4. 12z suite not encouraging. Euro is wettest fwiw
  5. March was very dry in Augusta with only 39% of normal rainfall. April has been dry with 66% of normal rainfall to date. The Extended GEFS and EURO Weeklies believe that May will continue the dry pattern, whatever that's worth!!
  6. Only 55 here right now. I don't think we're gonna make the forecasted low 60s today. Not a surprise that temps are underperforming with the clouds and wind off the ocean. I'm looking forward to the much warmer weather the rest of the week.
  7. I'm lost on that too. I don't know how that's gonna accomplish what he thinks it is...unless he's got something else going on.
  8. Two-thirds of the way through and MDT is still hanging onto BN April, barely. That will change this week though.
  9. Oh man, really sorry to hear that pal. Hang in there and get yourself some much-needed rest.
  10. what a day ... 65 with much less wind and the clouds are eroding back allowing more sun than anticipated. tomorrow 70s...

  12. Today
  13. Hello Liberty. I was 15 when Ms Carson’s Silent Spring was published. My parents had spray cans of DDT for use in the house. I believe we should tread very carefully before we interfere, in any way, with a natural process. Stay well, as always.
  14. Yes hopefully we can get decent coverage of thundershowers this week. Except for this Marginal, which really reminds me of a lumbering summer front, it doesn't look severe. Anyway the ol' boundary should help Tuesday and Wednesday as well, esp southern Tennessee border into MS/AL/GA. Then it looks like next week and perhaps the first full week of May the Region has slightly below normal precip. I'm not as optimistic as the CPC. We'll get days but not many. Ridge meanders from the Plains to Midwest, which will keep fronts fewer. No hardcore SER so temps should only be slightly AN. That same pattern in the summer would allow pop up storms but it'd also be humid. Whether we like it or not it could be a preview. That said I figure we'll get one more cool trough sometime in May before we go balls-to-the-wall until August.
  15. good deal. Left unchecked could be deadly, as i found out. sounds like you had good physicians and on your road to recovery.
  16. Active space weather period again. Keeping an eye on the next couple days.
  17. Nights are tough with higher dews though. That’s just the new norm. I also like it cool at night.
  18. Nice. I saw that on the COOP but i think i just included the 4.4SW Jefferson 30.6". Some of these are so close together i can't fit them all but that 30.9 matches up pretty close to the 30.6, which was also in Mine Hill
  19. The solar radiation component has been missing from the ET formula lately. Which is good, because the wind and dew point depression hasn't been doing us much good lately.
  20. Had 30.9" at my location. Except for 3 events of between 5 and 6" I could have done without the remaining nuisance 1-2" events. Nevertheless a total is a total and compared so some totals on this map even into the Catskills, mid Hudson Valley and NW CT I did well.
  21. Some major damage over the weekend in parts of the area it seems. Saw big branches and debris along I-70 from PA into Maryland. Looks like things will be relatively quiet - maybe a window for some strong storms next Tue or so.
  22. The sun has somehow begun to periodically find its way through the cloud factory of Frederick’s valley.
  23. Friday night / early Saturday looks like some showers nothing heavy or soaking
  24. Agreed, I hope Snowman19 is right. I’ll gladly roll the dice with ENSO neutral.
  25. Beautiful! Spring is here! Being off the devices and outside is good for the soul. I’ve been more or less off the site for months and I’ve loved it. Kinda wish I knew what happened though.
  26. Thank you Jon. I'm fortunate that I got on antibiotics right away. I already feel somewhat better just 2 days after diagnosis.
