  1. Past hour
  2. You weren't too cold last Winter. It is good to see what you are doing right and wrong though in seasonal outlooks.. at least you are doing seasonal outlooks. You are 1 of 2 people on here that does that.. it's one thing to talk about things after the fact, it's another thing to use methodology to try to predict it in advance.
  3. Lots of spotters reporting dust swirls as tornadoes on the ground rn
  4. Why did you move to sub 42N? Months of dews Enroute.
  5. Forecasted low of 50, actual low of 45. High of 77.
  6. The rainfall distribution is rather blotchy
  7. 39 for a low snd 75 for the high quite a spread
  8. Not quite 40 here. Low of 32.7° and a high of 69.9°.
  9. Perfect wx day here, blue skies and over performed to 24C/75F once again. This is my favorite so far of the year since last Weds it was also 24 but didn't have that warm wind mid-day and its far more green too. Tomorrow on tap to be another ride with anomalous high DPs, supercell potential throughout SON (TWN is a bit aggressive), high winds. I'm eager to find out what storm mode we're getting.
  10. Fall Summer Spring Winter A great winter can move up, but fall is tremendous no matter the year and summer is hard to beat because of the daylight.
  11. Sure but there’s no winter anymore . So nah
  12. Today
  13. Winter is easily the best season. Some of the dudes here are talking themselves into the home for the aged before age 50...lol
  14. I was at the beach earlier and it was damn near perfect. Visibility was so good you could see Fire Island from Jones Beach, very rare. Then boom the wind switched from a nice warm land breeze to a fridged sea breeze and I was outta there. Currently perfect in Lynbrook with a slight sea breeze.
  15. Rotation seems to be tightening near/over Kimball, MN.
  16. 74 degrees and bright, bright sunshine. Very light breeze, if any. This is the kind of weather that normal people like, but it was a bit much for me, especially on my walk back from the store. Being sweaty with the hot sun beating down on me is not my idea of a good time.
  17. DEW is down to 23.. we take while we can
  18. Nearly a "forty", low of 34 and high into the low 70s.
  19. Thank you for the update. One correction, however, just to be clear... Copernicus uses an 1850-1900 baseline. I know they refer to it as "pre-industrial" which may imply before 1850, but it is, in fact, based on the second half of the 19th century averages [even if a fair amount of industrialization had occurred by that time]. Not trying to be critical, just wanted to clarify. A lot of times, the choice of baseline can make a big difference. Of course, in that era, the changes were relatively smaller. Still, a baseline of 1800-1850 could be 0.1 or 0.2C cooler. Just not enough data from that era to say for sure.
