  1. Past hour
  2. A few GEFS members seems to have a rainy solution, but the op wants nothing to do with it. 18z icon remains on board
  3. Southern part of the line is starting to “beef” back up. We’ll see. I honestly wasn’t expecting to see this nice of a radar image tonight.
  4. I'll be kayaking down Sligo Creek
  5. Should be nice down to the shoreline tomorrow with NW offshore wind, though might still be gusty.
  6. 79mph gust at Latrobe according to the spc site.
  7. 82 for the high, down to 77 now with a dusting...of pollen on everything.
  8. Poor Wiz. Tornado warned storm in New York so close yet so far.
  9. Wow. Thats tough to beat around these parts… 56 degree swing is really impressive. Freeze in the morning and A/C in the afternoon? lol Clouds capped us at 84F and settled back into 80-81F after that. 48 degree swing, missed the elusive 50 mark.
  10. Forecasted low of 51, actual low of 48. High of 79.
  11. Wind was very intense as that line first blew in - classic bow echo. It was relatively brief, though. Estimate we hit gusts around 60 MPH, but I didn't get a chance to measure. Luckily we held power here, but it looks like it is out all around us. A tree fell on a nearby pizza place.
  12. They said it could take days to restore the power.
  13. Holy crap 29° to 85° at BML today
  14. Gfs only has half an inch for the next 10 days
  15. Kyle Gibson wishes he was still on the IL.
  16. I’m at jones beach right now taking my cpr refresher for life guarding and it’s absolutely ripping. Pretty much a perfect example of the Ambrose jet, enhanced with a cold front. Sustained 35 knots gusts 45 knots. One thing about these winds, they are remarkably consistent. As in little variation between sustained and gusts. Ocean is mess of white water and sand is blowing everywhere.
  17. Today
  18. Hmm power out here. There's trees and power line and stop lights down everywhere. Looks like we have some more action back in Ohio but I'm assuming the worst is over.
  19. On that run we barely see the sun for 10 days.
  20. Let's track it like it's a Christmas blizzard.
  21. We might as well take it out of the long range thread. The euro looks pretty impressive with the rain this weekend. Hopefully we all get water in our basements and swamps in our yards.
