It must be all thanks to March since April is running right about average for Detroit. April is still running a little below average up here.

do you really think it's not because we're putting large quantities of a gas that traps outgoing longwave radiation into the atmosphere

I often come out of work in Chelsea to like 60 and get home to 80....yesetrday was a good example. I'm just down the street from KBOS.
-
Sorry no. I tend to not spend much time on things I have no control over. As it is I do my part by living in NJ. I am forced to carry bags into a grocery store and drink from paper straws. That should help things a bit.

love when the old dudes get together and start arguing about minutiae, it's like thanksgiving in april -
That might happen over Logan again. Those boundaries love to sit just north of me. It will be naperville here and I can look north and see the fog 2-3 miles away.
-
Then we 90 on Tuesday!
-
Lets get a pocket of fog over Weymouth
-
Thank you, good to see some maturity for once. We have a climate change thread. I, and others are happy to debate you over there.
-
Certainly does look that way the last few years with the exception being the fall tropical potential... Love Iowa though - my favorite of the flatter plains states except for all the wind turbines in Eastern Iowa, yes cleaner energy but annoying to look at....

yep I knew it was some knucklehead that I said a few days ago. Hope he now has to pay for this catastrophe too to the county (and not just serve time for arson), municipalities and other govt entities that are fighting this fire including the fire companies time and equipment. He will be broke. -
80+ tomorrow from just SW of BOS to say Amherst and points south.

Yeah. Then cow farts and industry came along and changed everything. This area was once covered in a glacier and it melted and receded. No humans or industry then. To each his own I guess. No denying planet has warmed over the past 20-30 years but not human induced. Time will tell but most of us here today could welll be on the other side of the grass by then.
-
Sorry. You are delusional if you think for one second humans are going to stop the climate from changing no matter what we do. Trying to block out the sun, really?

I’ll just call the Ambrose jet the young vegetable destroyer from now on. The last one shredded my string beans.

Just hit 70.

Morning looks to be ok here. But Sunday looks like crap with windy, chilly temps.

We have actually been reducing that trend in the US. Overdose deaths in young people is one major factor, but the real catalyst has been life style. Many Americans are sedentary and have awful diets. Now global warming is rapidly accelerating and life expectancy is stagnant or decreasing.
-
Censorship to prove a point? Do you prefer global warming or completely indifferent?

2 calls stick out in my head from the game last night. 1. The called strike on Gunnar when he checked his swing. There was no way he saw where the check swing stopped....and wouldn't ask third for help. 2. Soto was pitching to Woods in the bottom of the 8th and had a pitch that was a little higher than exact center of the zone, which led to a walk. walked. I know that the O's problems are much deeper than the umps, but these are calls that can't be missed and were game-changing calls. MLB needs to get to a spot where video review can be used to help correct these issues.
