W. Ma has already had the trifecta with the 100yr (200yr?) flooding from Irene, Tornado, Oct. snow bomb

Ginx is the only one I have read that has a flooding fetish. The big three are Tornado, Hurricane, Blizzard to me jmo anyway.

Discouraged and tired, can NEVER remember a spring like this, spent all day watering temps in the low to mid 60s with a desert like never ending wind.

Beyond brutal, horrific actually.

might be a shower this week-hold out hope!!!

Edit-Upton doesn't have much the next week a 20% chance on one day and 30% on another...torch towards end of the forecast.

Be still my heart.

Pounding heavy snowfall in the mountains. Pics forthcoming. Heavy, caking beautiful snowfall.

These numbers are a couple hours old.

3,000ft...12"

2,500ft...11"

2,100ft...6"

1,500ft...1.5"

Current radar:

Jay Peak reports nearly similar amount 8-10 ast the summit! The upslope is intense and qpf at first a non believer but hehe too bad it will mostly melt back by the time sun comes out Thursday...

What an event so far... and we still have tonight to go through!

Snow level was right around 1,200ft... accumulations started at 1,400ft... with greater than 1" starting at 1,500ft. It then ramps up quickly from there.

This is from 1,300ft looking up at the 1,400ft accumulating line.

Up at 1,500ft it was dumping and I found 1.5" on my snow board.

Snow increased to 6" at 2,100ft... just awesome sights.
